Young Professionals

The IEEE Photonics Society Young Professionals program is a community group within the IEEE Young Professionals program (formerly known as GOLD). The Young Professionals program is committed to helping young professionals evaluate their career goals, refine their skills and grow a professional network. The program's outreach is targeted at reaching students and professionals up to 15 years post their first degree.

Members that make up this group are graduate students, post doctoral candidates, and young professionals that recently entered the photonics and optics workforce. Volunteers of this program can also be professors or advisors who guide graduate students or our student chapters.
