IEEE Photonics Standards

Scope

The IEEE Photonics Society has formed a new IEEE Photonics Standards Committee and is serving as a 'sponsor' of a select number of standards within the IEEE Standards Association. The scope as a sponsor is to cover standards in, but not limited to the following areas of interest: lasers, optical devices, optical fibers, and associated lightwave technology and their applications in systems and subsystems, in which the quantum electronic devices are key elements.

Sponsor Chair: John Kulick, john.kulick@siemens.com
